Equal opportunity program policy
High quality in work means relevant knowledge and aspects being expressed and clarified. Paying particular attention to the different experiences and perspectives of men and women is an important quality aspect for Mercatus. Mercatus also feels it is important to have different skills and both genders represented in different contexts.
Our equal opportunity committee monitors equal opportunity issues, implements various measures and is responsible for evaluating the equal opportunity program policy each year and revising it every three years.
Terms of employment, work conditions and development opportunities that are the same for men and women, as well as a salary structure that does not discriminate on gender grounds, are the norm at Mercatus. Work conditions and organisation must be adapted so that they are suitable for both men and women.
Sexual harassment is an abuse of power that we do not tolerate.
We create good opportunities for both men and women to combine work and studies with family life. A positive attitude towards parental leave is important. It is also important to have a positive attitude when a parent chooses to combine parental leave and work. Everyone at Mercatus shall make it easy for those who are on parental leave to maintain contact with the workplace. They will be given the opportunity to connect to our Intranet from home and will be invited to company activities.
- Equal opportunities throughout the company.
- Equal terms of employment, work conditions and development opportunities and a salary structure that pays no attention to gender differences.
- Good opportunities for both men and women to combine work and studies with family life.
